Hi, my name is Jenna Colacci and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in eating disorders, trauma, and related mental health concerns. Since earning my Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of Pittsburgh in 2020, I have solely focused my career on eating disorder treatment. Through this work, I have also gained experience and developed skills to effectively support clients with a variety of other diagnoses.

My clinical experience includes working across all levels of care—residential treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)—which has provided me with a deep understanding of the complexities involved in recovery. I bring this insight into every session, ensuring my clients receive compassionate and comprehensive care.

I am trained in trauma-informed therapy, with a specialization in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and also incorporate modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy into my work. My approach is designed to address eating disorders, body image, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem challenges in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment.

Outside of the therapy room, I bring the perspective of someone who has experienced the pressures and demands of high-level athletics—as a former collegiate track and field athlete, I understand the complexities of performance, identity, and self-worth. This lens informs my work with clients navigating similar challenges.

I am dedicated to partnering with my clients on their healing journeys, helping them build resilience, increase self-awareness, and foster lasting emotional well-being.

    _______________

    My Approach

I believe therapy is most effective when it’s both compassionate and honest, and that meaningful change happens when we feel safe enough to be open, supported enough to explore what's difficult, and encouraged enough to grow.

I take a holistic approach to therapy, honoring the whole person and recognizing that healing looks different for everyone. The techniques guiding our work will be thoughtfully tailored and adjusted to best support your individual needs, goals, and readiness.

With empathy and gentle honesty, I’ll walk alongside you in building greater self-awareness, resilience, and creating space for a more grounded, authentic version of you to emerge.
